Here is a product shot I finished for the joint assignment our class is currently working on this semester.  It took me 3 hours to complete retouching for this photo.  Both were meant to be cut outs, so disregard the background.

 

 

 

Five Minutes

For our assignment today, we had to shoot 6 photos in 10 minutes.  We had two setups ready to go , one inside and one out.  Here are 3 of my 6 shots:

The Greenbean

Here are some shots I took while shooting for a video assignment at the greenbean coffee shop in Greensboro. I worked with two students from my class, Cassandra Kiser and Virginia Bittorf.

 

Panning

This is the first attempt at panning I did in my first year at RCC.

Flowers

This week, the assignment was to choose between flowers, cold beverage, jewelry, or furniture.  I obviously chose to shoot flowers.  My original idea was to recreate a shot I did in my first year Design Lab class.  I planned on making a scene from a wedding and heres what I came up with:

 

NC Snow

Back in December when it snowed in NC I went out to take some shots.  I took a few detail shots and this one was my favorite. 

First Year Portraits

In my first year at RCC we had to go out and take portraits of each other using only natural light.  I was just looking around on my computer and found one that I thought I should post. 

“AIR”

So this week for an assingment we had to illustrate air.  I had some serious creativity block but decided to shoot something that shows movement because of air and came up with this shot:

 

Environmental Portraits

This past week in James’ side of our Advertising Photography class, we were instructed to go outside and shoot at least ten environmental portraits.   I worked in a group with Cassie and Belinda  and shot outside on RCC campus.  We brought out a Vagabond and a strobe, but of course the light was not working, so we used natural light and a silver reflector off to the left side of the model.   Here was my favorite photo that I shot.
